"TODAY" - In my corner of the world.

flood etc 074

For the hay and the corn and the wheat that is reaped,
For the labor well done and the barns that are heaped,
For the sun and the dew and the sweet honeycomb,
For the rose and the song and harvest brought home -

Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving!

flood etc 061

For the trade and the skill and the wealth in our land,
For the cunning and the strength of the workingman's hand,
For the good that our artists and poets have taught,
For the friendship that hope and affection have brought -

Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving!

flood etc 064

For the homes that with purest affection are blest,
For the season of plenty and well-deserved rest,
For our country extending from sea to sea,
For the land that is known as "Glorious and Free!"

Thanksgiving! Thanksgiving!

Please share with us what your “Today” is like in your part of the world and link up with Communal Global!

I wondered if you had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Canada this weekend. I love that your Thanksgiving is a little earlier than ours so the weather is still somewhat warm. That is nice. The girls are beautiful and the flower is gorgeous. I am glad you have a family that has so much love in it! XO

That is such a beautiful pale pink!

We were talking about Thanksgiving activity in Z's school and my husband said, "But Thanksgiving is over!" I told him that he had to get his head around that it's American Thanksgiving that her school is celebrating. ;p
