Sunday Snapshot - "Mama's garden clean-up crew"

....working hard....errrr....taking a break !

Ni Hao Y'all

It's Thanksgiving week-end here in Canada and we have much to be thankful for.
But instead of sitting around steeped in gratitude, I thought we would get a head start on the garden clean-up.
And instead of it being a chore (which it really is....but don't tell), I tried to inspire the fam into frolicking outside, while the yard gets a clean-up.

And how did we do?
Well.......it was a good start.
Happy Thanksgiving Canada, Happy Sunday y'all

Are your hydrangeas really still that pink? That is a lovely color. Ours have already turned fall colors. Those are a couple of cutie pie garden helpers...that's for sure.

Yes M...this is the color. And it is the fall version. In the summer they are a soft pink.
Hehe...thanks!

Wanda those girls are just adorable! I love the cheesy smiles you received from Dahlia. And I'm totally jealous of the cool weather. We were only able to open the windows for a few hours. The became too warm for me. I'm not complaining (even though it sounds like it!)... it's been on the drier side than normal. Love that!

Hope you had a fun weekend. Happy Thanksgiving!!

Hugs,
Grace

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

It does look a bit chilly but with sweethearts like that to help out, I'm sure the task is done in record time, with lots of "warming" smiles and giggles to boot!!!

Love D's grin with a bit of wistful "attitude"....I see that from time to time hear too.....giggle.....sort of a version of..."if I smile just like this, then maybe the lady with the camera will point the lens somehwere else!" LOL

I love it!!

Your garden is still stunning too....we are having record high temps here and its forcing all the trees into their Autumn splendor....*ah* this time of year is so inspiring!!

Happy Thanksgiving to you my friend. Hope you made a big feast...I imagine you did, you love to cook. :)

Beautiful pics of your garden (albeit a little chilly) beauties! You're inspiring me with the garden cleanup. Hey, we cleaned off our deck and put some things away. That's a start.

Hope your week is going well!

Happy Thanksgiving!

The girls look adorable, as usual. It's so great to see Dahlia and Milana together... so sweet!

Oh, you're breaking out the scarves and the long sleeves already... the weather here is not quite cool enough for that yet. Your girls look fashionable, as always!

Hi, I'm Wanda. I am a happy woman, wife to Danny for...oh....lots a years and finally Mom to THE most adorable little girl from Hunan, China - Dahlia. And now we have been blessed again with another daughter, Milana, from Zhejiang, China. (The 2 best things I've ever done!) We live in the Montreal area. After a loooonnngg wait for Dahlia's little sister Milana (pronounced - Mee-lana, like banana), we finally brought her home in August 2009. Dahlia came to us in Nov 2004 (at 20 months of age)and a year later we began the application for another baby - at the time the waiting period was around 8 months. Almost 4 years later (say what!?!)we, at last, brought Milana home. This began as the story of our journey to bring Milana home and life with her big sister, Dahlia. It now continues as we live as a family of four!
God. My (growing) family. Hangin' out with my girlies. My wonderful friends (you know who you are!). To laugh (out loud and a lot!). Music. Painting. Hugs. Long chats with my buds. My garden. To read (ha...when I can!). Sunshine. Spring, Spring and more Spring. Building things. Cooking. Decorating. Parties (ahem). The internet. Life. Movies. A.I. Dancing with the stars. So you think you can dance. Travel. Umm..did I say laughing my head off. Oh Gee...everything actually!!
