(Mostly) Wordless Wednesday

News Flash - Dahlia loses first tooth!!!
A very big deal to this little girl. Very big indeed!
OrdinaryAndAwesome.com is the Chronicles of My Ordinary and Awesome Life, Family, and Thoughts. OrdinaryAndAwesome.com is the Mostly Wordless Wednesday headquarters as well as the home to several original awards and memes.

Everyday, this little one gives me something to smile about (or a giggle to a full blown belly laugh). This gave me a giggle.

The other day Dahlia crawled into our bed, early in the morning (which I love) and I proceeded to hug her and whispered in her ear "I love you so much, I just want to eat you". Dahlia paused for a moment and in all seriousness said "hmmm.......well...., maybe just a nibble".

:)

Hmm....I just read over what I wrote and thought I should point out that the text above has nothing whatsoever to do with the picture (and the missing tooth). Just in case anyone got any weird ideas. Heh!

I LOVE your humour! I totally understand! I munch M-G on a daily basis:) Even go so far as to butter up her arm, salt and pepper it... Ok, sounds much wierder than it is:) She LOVES it!

Please congratulate Dahlia! What a huge accomplishment! Teeth can be tricky! What an exciting, magical time you are living!

Have a beautiful day!

Y'all,

DID THE TOOTH FAIRY COME? Hmmmm.....let me see. I believe it was the day after we signed the first papers with our agency that I went to Winners. Purchases? - one adorable pink velvet jumpsuit and one little satin tooth fairy pillow with a little pouch for fairy donations.

Oh yeah!

Hi!

Thank you soooo sooooo much for stopping by and leaving such delightful comments to our blog! Its always a HUGE treat when someone new stops by and leaves a big ole hi! I'm smiling big here..... :)

AND oh my gosh, your blog is beautiful, refreshing and just fun too! I will so be stopping by frequently now to take peeks and follow along! AND you are bringing precious baby #2 home soon after what must have been such a long & grueling wait. I feel lucky to follow along!

Your family is beautiful and I suspect that your sweet Miss will do so well with the newest addition....adjustments yes, but oh the rewards for them both!!

If ever I can help, please let me know!!

Hugs,
Lisa

You make me giggle, lady. And I didn't suspect for a minute that you ate her tooth. But only because teeth are too difficult to chew. Obviously.

First of all, beautiful little toothless girl.

Secondly, I love the story. I can picture that. That is what being a mommy is all about, moments like that. :o)

Hi, I'm Wanda. I am a happy woman, wife to Danny for...oh....lots a years and finally Mom to THE most adorable little girl from Hunan, China - Dahlia. And now we have been blessed again with another daughter, Milana, from Zhejiang, China. (The 2 best things I've ever done!) We live in the Montreal area. After a loooonnngg wait for Dahlia's little sister Milana (pronounced - Mee-lana, like banana), we finally brought her home in August 2009. Dahlia came to us in Nov 2004 (at 20 months of age)and a year later we began the application for another baby - at the time the waiting period was around 8 months. Almost 4 years later (say what!?!)we, at last, brought Milana home. This began as the story of our journey to bring Milana home and life with her big sister, Dahlia. It now continues as we live as a family of four!
God. My (growing) family. Hangin' out with my girlies. My wonderful friends (you know who you are!). To laugh (out loud and a lot!). Music. Painting. Hugs. Long chats with my buds. My garden. To read (ha...when I can!). Sunshine. Spring, Spring and more Spring. Building things. Cooking. Decorating. Parties (ahem). The internet. Life. Movies. A.I. Dancing with the stars. So you think you can dance. Travel. Umm..did I say laughing my head off. Oh Gee...everything actually!!
