TODAY! .....just this 'n that.

Good Friday girls 007 TUES.

So, I forgot to include the picture above in last week's (Easter) post....so here are the kiddos in their why can't they make big girl coats like these adorable dress coats.

I warn you, this post will be all over the place. (Just in case you thought I was...umm....scattered or somethin'.)

As we were leaving for school this morning, I usually have a firm hold on Milana's hand (cause she's a wild thang) but this morning I must have been distracted. So, as I was fumbling with the key to lock the front door I hear Dahlia shouting "runaway kid - runaway kid!"

She didn't get far but I find Dahlia's little quotes so funny. She's full of them and if I don't start posting some of them.....well.......you know the rest.

A little art project from Milana's little school.

I love the month of May (and June, definately my favs) but one of the things I like about the winter months is a tree in silouette. I love their bare bone branches and the shapes they form.

And I love the little notes I find all over the house from the first munchkin who made me a "mom".

I warned you, there's no rhyme or reason here.

So, I'll end with a little tease for my upcoming Wednesday's Black and White post.

Oh how I love your posts....you catch me up on EVERYTHING...your gorgeous girls, your photography, yummy food, the love in your home...(you know I'm a serious note lover!), the most fabulous clothes (I completely covet Dahlia's coat and that awesome dress with whoppin' flower at the end too!).

I can see you are ready for May and June and can't wait to see what my favorite Canadians are up to in the next few weeks.

Laughing at the Runaway comment, Lusting after the cocoa balls of who-knows-what, and trying to imagine (in my A/C home) what it is like to wear a winter coat.

I agree about the coats - - - I WANT one in my size just like the dark one!

We still have plenty of bare bone branches 'round here - - - come on over.

LOVE your pictures.

Why don't they make nice coats like those for us adults, right? Your girls are adorable and very sweet. Great images, as always, Wanda. =)

Hi, I'm Wanda. I am a happy woman, wife to Danny for...oh....lots a years and finally Mom to THE most adorable little girl from Hunan, China - Dahlia. And now we have been blessed again with another daughter, Milana, from Zhejiang, China. (The 2 best things I've ever done!) We live in the Montreal area. After a loooonnngg wait for Dahlia's little sister Milana (pronounced - Mee-lana, like banana), we finally brought her home in August 2009. Dahlia came to us in Nov 2004 (at 20 months of age)and a year later we began the application for another baby - at the time the waiting period was around 8 months. Almost 4 years later (say what!?!)we, at last, brought Milana home. This began as the story of our journey to bring Milana home and life with her big sister, Dahlia. It now continues as we live as a family of four!
God. My (growing) family. Hangin' out with my girlies. My wonderful friends (you know who you are!). To laugh (out loud and a lot!). Music. Painting. Hugs. Long chats with my buds. My garden. To read (ha...when I can!). Sunshine. Spring, Spring and more Spring. Building things. Cooking. Decorating. Parties (ahem). The internet. Life. Movies. A.I. Dancing with the stars. So you think you can dance. Travel. Umm..did I say laughing my head off. Oh Gee...everything actually!!
