Tuesdays around the world

DP,WE2&snow 059-2

THIS
was what we saw from our living room window last Friday night. Just as we were getting used to warmer temps and the smell of mud in the air......winter had other plans for us.

The kids were ecstatic to say the least. Not only was the snow falling and falling fast but it was the heaviest, stickiest snow of this year and I can't even remember when.

laugh-1

So......laugh we did!

Next morning we were outside in it.

....and building our snowman snowgirl (if you please).

This bad boy (snow blower) is Daddy's best friend. Of course he delights in pointing the hose at the kids as they squeal with delight.

Nope...didn't get a picture of that 'cause if he did that while I had my camera in my hand....well...then I'd have to kill him. (kidding....sort of!)

So.....we're one snowfall closer to the end of winter, right? (Just trying to stay positive here.)

Enjoy our little journey around the world.

This winter was super mild! I was kind of jealous that you got so much snow, but now that I think about it, I change my mind :) But I'm glad to see the girls enjoyed it!

Oh it looks like you all had so much fun in the snow....and I love your snow girl!!

We have had ZERO SNOW this year....I kind of wish we would get one big storm to keep us down for a few days as a family..... would be a nice way to kiss winter a final goodbye until next year!!!

xoxo,

Lisa

I love the font you have for all your titles. :)

Just look at all that snow, whoa! The kids have been begging that we spend Christmas in Canada so that they can see snow... although it's a hit-or-miss in Vancouver with the snow unless we go up to Whistler or something.

Hi, I'm Wanda. I am a happy woman, wife to Danny for...oh....lots a years and finally Mom to THE most adorable little girl from Hunan, China - Dahlia. And now we have been blessed again with another daughter, Milana, from Zhejiang, China. (The 2 best things I've ever done!) We live in the Montreal area. After a loooonnngg wait for Dahlia's little sister Milana (pronounced - Mee-lana, like banana), we finally brought her home in August 2009. Dahlia came to us in Nov 2004 (at 20 months of age)and a year later we began the application for another baby - at the time the waiting period was around 8 months. Almost 4 years later (say what!?!)we, at last, brought Milana home. This began as the story of our journey to bring Milana home and life with her big sister, Dahlia. It now continues as we live as a family of four!
God. My (growing) family. Hangin' out with my girlies. My wonderful friends (you know who you are!). To laugh (out loud and a lot!). Music. Painting. Hugs. Long chats with my buds. My garden. To read (ha...when I can!). Sunshine. Spring, Spring and more Spring. Building things. Cooking. Decorating. Parties (ahem). The internet. Life. Movies. A.I. Dancing with the stars. So you think you can dance. Travel. Umm..did I say laughing my head off. Oh Gee...everything actually!!
