Black and White Wednesday " More Get-away "

Mt Tremblant week-end June 19,2011 019-2 WM

(yes.....this is little Miss Coquette and her backward glance pose.)

I did say I'd post more pictures from our tiny trip to Tremblant but be warned. There are a lot of them. (Sorry....couldn't help it!)

It's funny but even though we were only gone one night - it made such a difference. Really, it felt like we'd been gone for a week. We really need to do this more often - we get in such a rut of schedules and rushing. It's so nice to just chill and "be"! Instead of do, do, do!

Like sip a little wine together on the balcony and watch the sunset while the kiddos were in dreamland. Getting away gives you permission to do that. At home - I'd get ansy thinking about all the things I had to do.

Chase the kiddos around.

I can't get enough of all the different shapes and colors in the architecture.

We took the gondola up the mountain - which seemed like we were headed for the top of the world. Wow....it's high.

And you can't beat that view.

This is the very top. We can't even see the village from up here - we're so high.

Goodness, Wanda! I want to take the family there! We're staying on the west coast this year (as we have pretty much every year!), but one of these days, we will head east and when we do, I'll have to make sure we go there! :)

Hi, I'm Wanda. I am a happy woman, wife to Danny for...oh....lots a years and finally Mom to THE most adorable little girl from Hunan, China - Dahlia. And now we have been blessed again with another daughter, Milana, from Zhejiang, China. (The 2 best things I've ever done!) We live in the Montreal area. After a loooonnngg wait for Dahlia's little sister Milana (pronounced - Mee-lana, like banana), we finally brought her home in August 2009. Dahlia came to us in Nov 2004 (at 20 months of age)and a year later we began the application for another baby - at the time the waiting period was around 8 months. Almost 4 years later (say what!?!)we, at last, brought Milana home. This began as the story of our journey to bring Milana home and life with her big sister, Dahlia. It now continues as we live as a family of four!
God. My (growing) family. Hangin' out with my girlies. My wonderful friends (you know who you are!). To laugh (out loud and a lot!). Music. Painting. Hugs. Long chats with my buds. My garden. To read (ha...when I can!). Sunshine. Spring, Spring and more Spring. Building things. Cooking. Decorating. Parties (ahem). The internet. Life. Movies. A.I. Dancing with the stars. So you think you can dance. Travel. Umm..did I say laughing my head off. Oh Gee...everything actually!!
