Black and White Wednesday

Family shoot (Naushine) 297 blog b&w

Last fall I did a pregnancy shoot with Miss N and then, just before Christmas, had the thrill of doing another when the baby was about 2 months old.

Then they asked me to do a Family photoshoot in January. (I remember thinking - oh, the light would be so much better in May but then remembered - we can't ask a baby to stop growing till the light is right. Pity.)

That day in January was almost too bright. I had visions of propping everyone near the window but had to pick the far wall on the sofa as the room was flooded with sunlight.

But I think no matter what light this family was in - they are just one gorgeous family!!!

What a beautiful family and gorgeous pictures!! Me thinks you captured the light beautifully in their living room! The baby is so big already! Can't believe how quickly time flies! It seems like yesterday when you were doing her maternity shots!

Oh my goodness Wanda! What a beautiful family! I remember seeing them before and I always thought they were lovely. Babies are pure deliciousness! :)
Your picture size looks perfect. I have to tell you the truth...I think blogs that are not in one are too much work : ). I barely ever click over to a special photography blog unless it is one of my very favorite friends! I have also heard from families that they would rather be on my main blog because that is where all the action happens! If that is what they like then far be it from me to disrupt their wishes!

That is just my opinion though...and what do I know? Not a whole heck of a lot!

WOW. These are fabulous pictures, I love the apple picture. You are seriously working your magic.

How rewarding is this? Is there anything you can't do well???? I didn't think so.

I bet they loved every shot.

The butterfly photos are also stunning. Spring is definitely makiing it's presence known, but about a week and a half later Summer shows up with major attitude and kick's spring to the curb and stays for 6 months.

Aren't you glad you don't live in Texas?

Love everything.

Hi, I'm Wanda. I am a happy woman, wife to Danny for...oh....lots a years and finally Mom to THE most adorable little girl from Hunan, China - Dahlia. And now we have been blessed again with another daughter, Milana, from Zhejiang, China. (The 2 best things I've ever done!) We live in the Montreal area. After a loooonnngg wait for Dahlia's little sister Milana (pronounced - Mee-lana, like banana), we finally brought her home in August 2009. Dahlia came to us in Nov 2004 (at 20 months of age)and a year later we began the application for another baby - at the time the waiting period was around 8 months. Almost 4 years later (say what!?!)we, at last, brought Milana home. This began as the story of our journey to bring Milana home and life with her big sister, Dahlia. It now continues as we live as a family of four!
God. My (growing) family. Hangin' out with my girlies. My wonderful friends (you know who you are!). To laugh (out loud and a lot!). Music. Painting. Hugs. Long chats with my buds. My garden. To read (ha...when I can!). Sunshine. Spring, Spring and more Spring. Building things. Cooking. Decorating. Parties (ahem). The internet. Life. Movies. A.I. Dancing with the stars. So you think you can dance. Travel. Umm..did I say laughing my head off. Oh Gee...everything actually!!
