Ode to feet.....

....not really...it just sounded good!

Take a guess what this is.
A mouse? (No, I wouldn't advertise that....:o )
Try again.
Still not sure?

It's Zizi's paw (or foot - thus the title).

Bedtime rituals in the bathroom with Dahlia were always something shared with the company of her beloved cat -Zizi. But since Milana's arrival, we've had to close the door so the light won't wake her up and most nights we forget to invite Zizi in before we close the door.

So......what's a cat to do?

Well.....at least now she feels somewhat included.

Then the other day I heard clomping on the hardwood floor in the loft. But my brain did not compute. Dahlia was in school, Danny doesn't clomp and Zizi is a quiet little thing, she is.

I turn the corner to investigate and look what I see. The kid is still wobbly on her feet but oh......it's started already. Get the girl some high heels.

She's raring to go!

Yes, they're backwards but.......

they ARE high heels.

Outta my way!
I've got things to do, places to go and people to see.
Hmmm....let's see what else I can get into while sissy's in school.
Happy Friday everyone!

Love the shoes! Our cat does the same thing. Any time our bedroom door is shut and he is on the other side, he slides his arm/leg (Hmmm, what is it? ) under and moves the door over and over. It sounds like knocking almost.

My little one does the same thing when his big sister is at school. He goes in her room and plays with toys he would never be able to touch when she's home.

I remember when my daughter used to wear "high heels" as a small child. She would make me so nervous running around on our tile floor... just an accident waiting to happen! ;-)

Happy Friday to you too!

A little girl in heels is such an adorable thing! :)

Z has gone through a phase where she would wear my shoes and then it turned to just taking all my shoes out and asking me to wear them. !

Too cute. My two also love the plastic heels....truth be told, my son wears them better than his sister.

Hi, I'm Wanda. I am a happy woman, wife to Danny for...oh....lots a years and finally Mom to THE most adorable little girl from Hunan, China - Dahlia. And now we have been blessed again with another daughter, Milana, from Zhejiang, China. (The 2 best things I've ever done!) We live in the Montreal area. After a loooonnngg wait for Dahlia's little sister Milana (pronounced - Mee-lana, like banana), we finally brought her home in August 2009. Dahlia came to us in Nov 2004 (at 20 months of age)and a year later we began the application for another baby - at the time the waiting period was around 8 months. Almost 4 years later (say what!?!)we, at last, brought Milana home. This began as the story of our journey to bring Milana home and life with her big sister, Dahlia. It now continues as we live as a family of four!
God. My (growing) family. Hangin' out with my girlies. My wonderful friends (you know who you are!). To laugh (out loud and a lot!). Music. Painting. Hugs. Long chats with my buds. My garden. To read (ha...when I can!). Sunshine. Spring, Spring and more Spring. Building things. Cooking. Decorating. Parties (ahem). The internet. Life. Movies. A.I. Dancing with the stars. So you think you can dance. Travel. Umm..did I say laughing my head off. Oh Gee...everything actually!!
