Don't be fooled by this innocent face !

Deep within this adorable little cherub........
........beats the heart of a.....

WILD CHILD !!!

I know, I know, it's hard to believe.

How could she be anything else but

sugar and sweetness and everything.....

soft, but it's true.

She's a wild thing......

SEE.......what did I tell you!

And this mama is panting most days

just keeping up with her.

But make no mistake about it.....

catch her I will !!!

She is so stinking cute! My number four, Avery, is my wild child! I guess she has to make the most noise being the fourth one! The pictures of your little Milana are so precious. Have a wonderful day!

Gorgeous pictures of a beautiful, precious little girl! She reminds me a little of my oldest daughter when she was that age!

Wow, you had her ears pierced! Love it! Z wants to wear earrings now, too. I'd told her maybe when she's older, when she's around 10. She told me, "No, Mommy, when I 3 years old!"

Oh Wanda! Not THAT child!?!?! Certainly you MUST be thinking of another! LOL! Those super sweet faces can be decieving sometimes can't they? My Lucy can attest to that! LOL!

She is absolutely precious! I just want to kiss her!

I love the pictures, Wanda! Both of your girls have such black hair - Maya's is more dark brown. I know what you mean about catching Milana! I keep telling Maya that I am both stronger AND faster than her!!!

She's perfect - all sweetness and light, with just enough spunk to keep life interesting! (Easy for me to say, right? I'm not the one chasing her!)

Jeepers.....your photography just oozes stunning grace & oodles of talent! How ever did you get her to sit and pose??

AND....of course she's just gorgeous; yours' have to be the best dressed duo around!! Hands down! :)

As to the wild child thing....well, every well rounded, multi faceted little lady has to keep a card and/or trick or two up her sleeve....right?? :) LOL

Soooooooooooooooooooo sweet!

WHAT a beauty!!!! You captured her expressions so well. Well I can attest to a wild child, as mr. Will has kept me running for the last 18 mos. He's actually calming down now...finally.

Lisa,

I plopped her with a diaper on her changing table. It has a cradle pad so she likes sitting in there with her legs crossed while I put her things away anyway so she's used to it. One of the few places where she'll actually sit still.
Whew!

Wow...those pics are the best. So sorry...I just don't believe that she is anything but sweetness and light. :-)
I was going to get R's ears pierced when she was a year-old but, I just couldn't do it, remembering how much it hurt when I was 13. She tells me now that she wants to do that but, when she is much older. She's a big chicken. ha ha.

Hi, I'm Wanda. I am a happy woman, wife to Danny for...oh....lots a years and finally Mom to THE most adorable little girl from Hunan, China - Dahlia. And now we have been blessed again with another daughter, Milana, from Zhejiang, China. (The 2 best things I've ever done!) We live in the Montreal area. After a loooonnngg wait for Dahlia's little sister Milana (pronounced - Mee-lana, like banana), we finally brought her home in August 2009. Dahlia came to us in Nov 2004 (at 20 months of age)and a year later we began the application for another baby - at the time the waiting period was around 8 months. Almost 4 years later (say what!?!)we, at last, brought Milana home. This began as the story of our journey to bring Milana home and life with her big sister, Dahlia. It now continues as we live as a family of four!
God. My (growing) family. Hangin' out with my girlies. My wonderful friends (you know who you are!). To laugh (out loud and a lot!). Music. Painting. Hugs. Long chats with my buds. My garden. To read (ha...when I can!). Sunshine. Spring, Spring and more Spring. Building things. Cooking. Decorating. Parties (ahem). The internet. Life. Movies. A.I. Dancing with the stars. So you think you can dance. Travel. Umm..did I say laughing my head off. Oh Gee...everything actually!!
