TODAY!!!!!!!!! " a most special day!"

It's Dahlia's 6th Gotcha Day - TODAY!

On November 8th (2004), in that now so familiar civil affairs office in Changsha, Hunan - our first, long awaited daughter became ours.

And this little girl made me the most happy Mommy!!

It always amazes me how one little day

could change so much.

Here is Dahlia, in the middle to the right - with her BFF "Angel" to the middle left. Their bond is unbreakable and a joy for all of us.

And TODAY! November 8, 2010 - Dahlia had the day off from school so we hopped down to Chinatown for a girl's lunch at our favorite spot and dove into some Shanghai noodles.

What can I say ..."Oh Wanda"...these pictures are so amazing. Our little Dahlia has brought all of us so much joy. I love her so much and thank God that I have been able to share all these special moments with you and Dahlia. BFF Angel went to bed with a huge smile last night and I am sure her GOTCHA DAY KISS with Dahlia had a lot to do with her joy of this very special day.

Wow, has it been that long? She was and remains such a lovely girl. So blessed you all are to have one another.

You don't change a bit; how is that possible?

It is obvious you were always meant to be a mother and two very lucky little girls knew it too.

Happy Gotcha Day Dahlia and your Forever Family!

love Valerie
