Black and White Wednesday - "Photo Shoot!"

Photo shoot (pregnant) - Naushine Sept.17,2010 076

Last week I had the priviledge of capturing a beautiful Mommy-to-be (her third) with just a few more weeks to go before her due date. Ms N. is a sweet, soft soul whom I've known since we were both on the PTA at the "Little School" for our first girls about 4 years ago. (Our little PTA gang has remained friends and we see each other fairly often.)

So, I'm portfolio building and needed a pregnant gal and asked Ms N. and she was very willing. It was the easiest hour I've ever spent behind the lens. (Ha, she didn't move - not once!) It was noon so I had trouble with a very bright sun and shadows, even through the trees, but this setting just spoke to me.

Ms N. is very zen and this little spot of green had zen written all over it.

Of course, being gorgeous didn't hurt one bit either.

Thank you Ms N. for sitting so pretty for me.

Beautiful photos, beautiful place, beautiful mommy to be! My favourite is the very last one with the sun picking through the trees and brightening her face perfectly! Well done!

Wow! She is a beautiful woman, and you took some very beautiful photos of her, Wanda! Great job :) I think you did a great job with the tricky noon day sun too! Hope you've been well. I've been a bit absent from blogging world as my photography business and life in general has been so very busy! I've missed keeping up on your blog! Hope things are well with you :)

Great photos for her to remember her "wait" time. You are an excellent photographer! Love the light, so not an issue in my eyes. Just making the blog "rounds" again, I need to make an appointment each week so that I save time to catch up on your news!

You are well on your way to building a fantastic portfolio! Love these Wanda. I've tried taking pics during that time of the day. It's not easy. You really did a great job, especially with positioning the shadows so they didn't fall on her face.

Love them all! Congrats!

Hugs,
Grace

My first thought: Are you cheating? I bet its impossible to take a bad pic of that gorgeous lady!

On second thought, imagining the blurry mess I'd make of the poor woman answers my own question. Great job!
