.....was the little face we saw for the first time!
....finally became ours!!
What a difference a year can make.
Each day she blossoms more....like a flower.
And we discovery another petal.
As everything she was meant to be....
Before our very eyes!
(We just got back from a six day trip for a family re-union so I'll be catching up for the next little while.)

She is blossoming! You have two wonderful pretty little girls who adore each other... that is such a blessing. :)
Oh, I'm joining Lisa' BW Wednesday now, too, after seeing your BW photos here every week. So fun!
Oh, Wanda... one year ago today...as you held your sweet little flower Milana for the first time...I held my little Georgia for the first time too. Although we were miles apart my dear friend our hearts were still together in spirit as God revealed his love to us all a second time.
I will never ever forget the moment that our two families with our new babies were reunited in Beijing...wow, what a moment that was!!!
You have been by my side from the beginning my fellow "MAMA BEAR" and I cannot think of a better person to share this journey with.
Our four girls are amazing and GOD IS SO, SO GOOD.
Milana, my love I am so happy that you are part of our life and I love watching you bloom.

She is stunning! Our youngest have been home for three years in September and the little, thin and very scared girl we met in China has blossomed in to a confident, happy and beautiful person. I agree...a year makes such a difference.

Beautiful photos. I just found your blog while hopping other blogs and love what I see. Now following so I can see more!

Your photos are beautiful Wanda. It's hard to believe it's only been one year since Milana has been home. She has grown so much within a short period of time. I'm sure you feel as if she has always been with you. I feel the exact same way about my little boy.
Hugs...
Grace

What an incredible gift you have been given... I have loved watching Milana blossom (through your many gorgeous pictures and stories)and settle into her loving family life. Happy Family Day!!!! xoxo
Oh wow, I didn't realize it had only been a year, happy family day to all of you! Milana is so precious, I just could kiss those sweet little cheeks. No doubt they've received millions of kisses in this last year. :)
She is precious! Has it been a year already??
Has she ever blossomed??! I love that photo of her wearing the pink hat.
You live in Montreal!! Oh my - I didn't realize that - I gues I should have read your profile! I stumbled upon your blog just over a year ago when you were preparing to bring this girl home. Just today a number of parents and children from our adoption playgroup are on the train to Montreal, they do it every year and spend 3 days there together. I think there is a festival on at the moment? I didn't go because we just got back from vacation on Tuesday. Nove Scotia is amazing, I don't know how you left it!
Anyway, it's so nice to 'bump into' another canuck! :)

Wanda I would love for you to be my featured artistic blogger for Monday. Please let me know if you are up to it. I would need it ready to post tomorrow night at 10:00 or so New York time. I would need one paragraph about you and your blog (like you see in the Nestwork) and a picture that represents you. E-mail me at mamaslittlenestwork@hotmail.com and let me know if you think you can do it. I would love for you to be featured my friend. You have such an amazing talent!

These pictures are great! I will have to join in on one of these black and white wednesdays!
What a difference a year makes, INDEED! Look at that little beauty in all her glory safe in the arms of her family.
I can't wait to meet the girls (and Danny!) one day soon. I think we definitely need to do a road trip!
Missing you and can't wait to hear about the family reunion!!
