I love so many things about summer.
Bright sunshine, lazy days, a big frosty drink, (AC...ahem), listening to the kiddos shrieking as they run through the sprinkler.
And
Flowers.
I really love my flowers.
Here is one imperfect floribunda rose called "Gemini" in my backyard garden,
And I had to show it in color....
....cause I love it!
Check out lots more photography at Lisa's site.
I am trying to squeeze every last drop of summer out before it's over.
I hope roses are blooming in your life too.

Our roses have been so beautiful this summer! I love going out my front door and smelling my "Rock and Roll" rose which reminds me of cotton candy. YUM! Your roses are just beautiful Wanda, as are your pictures!
So pretty! All of my roses are fading... :::sniffle:::

Beautiful! I actually like the black and white ones better. Well done!

Wow, this is so pretty! I love the two-toned roses... how the darker color gradually blends into the lighter one. :)
What beautiful roses Wanda. I absolutely love all types of flowers. We used to have rose bushes around my house when we first moved in 9 years ago. Unfortunately, they are long gone now. My green thumb wasn't so green back then. Looking at these makes me want to give it a try once again.
Hugs...

So so pretty Wanda! My roses are still blooming like mad. Somehow they don't mind that it was 108 just two days ago. :)
It's so funny how the the mood changes when it's converted to black and white - either way, you can't go wrong with beautiful roses.
Beautiful! I love roses. I am also trying to squeeze out every last bit of summer too. I am really looking forward to the fall but I want to get the most out of my summer! I hope you are having a great week!
Oh goodess! Absolutely gorgeous. You must have been more responsible in watering your roses than I have...because mine are a shriveled mess! LOL! :-) Yours look fresh and lovely! Thanks for stopping by my blog too! ;-)
Stunning!! I love all the lighting every single one of these. And your conversions are stunning in themselves. Sometimes we do not need all the color but boy do they come to life with the color too.
I LOVE your blog! These pics are gorgeous! Congratulations on bringing your sweet girls home! Thanks for your support on my feature day in the nestwork! :) I'm your newest follower!
Beautiful Wanda. I love both versions.
ahhhh....just lovely, in either shades. More dramatic perhaps in B&W but oh so glorious in pink....course I'm biased cuz that's my fave color of all time!! :)
Thanks for the sweet wishes too....I love that so many roses are blooming for you too this summer!!
Hugs!!
Beautiful!
Hey Wanda! I love the third picture both in black and white and in color. Beautiful! I have my 40th birthday coming up and I am going to ask for a new camera. What do you suggest? I want to be able to click away and capture my daughters smiles. My camera now is slow at captuing the moment! I hope you are well. I love my windows cracked open a bit in the winter also. My grandmother used to air the house out in Germany for 15 minutes each day no matter how cold it wasw. I think many do in Germany. It is so fresh and reviving! Well, I opened my mouth about starting my weight loss on my blog. I want to, but I guess it means no more salty popcorn with M&M's mixed in. Ugh! Back to carrots.

Hey Wanda! thank you for the information on the camera! Did I ever tell you how much I loved your painting? I am not sure if I told you, but you are really talented! Wow! By the way, I miss my Omi! She was so sweet! Have a great night!

SO BEAUTIFUL Wanda!! I could really use your touch around here.......our flower beds are a little less than lacking this year. We just didn't have the time to attend to them.....
I would love to walk around your yard and see all your flowers:) Maybe someday!!
Enjoy your weekend~
