Black and White Wednesday - "Halloween"

Halloween 2010 005
Another fun Halloween with some serious trick-or-treating going on here.

Halloween 2010 030-2
Milana had her choice of costumes (cause you'd think we owned a dress-up shop here) and her choice du jour was this little pink poodle number.

Dahlia wanted to be an angel (cause her BFF's name is Angel, of course). I'm so glad she's still into the princess/fairy thing. I know it won't last but Mommy is sure enjoying it while it does.

Halloween 2010 042
Milana was a little fairy for her pre-school Halloween party. (I think I may have to eat her!!)

Halloween 2010 042-2

Another Halloween come and gone. They're flying by, it seems.
I may be a bit MIA in the next little bit - not because I don't love y'all - cause I do. But a certain someone is coming up for a visit and she's bringing her Darlings. (There's your clue.)
So, you know I'll have oddles of pictures after all our merry-making is done!

Don't forget to pay a visit to Lisa's site. She's back with Reagan so I'll bet she's sharing some pics.
Have a wonderful week!

Had enough of Halloween yet?

Yes?
Awww......too bad....'cause I have yet more pictures to share.
Our "princess in training".

Belle face!
(please excuse me....I can't help it.)

Dahlia has been taking ballet since she was 3 and every Halloween they have a little dress-up show at the end of the lesson where we drooling, overly excited parents are allowed into the hallowed ground practice hall where our little giggling darlings strut their stuff.

Here (below), Dahlia is with her BF - Angel - who has taken lessons with her since the beginning.

Proud? Who....us?

At the end of the little show, Milana was let loose and ran to her sister's arms. My heart just melts with these pictures.

...I gotcha, sissy.

Their ballet teacher gave out treats. Oh boy!

Sweaty, satisfied and happy - my little ballet princess whips off her tiara. She's done!

Let's go home, Mom.

Halloween (part 1)

How do you choose from about a million err, that is several hundred pictures when with each one, noises like - "ohh, ahh,I love it, I'm dying" are escaping from my mouth.
Here's a lame attempt with more to come when I get another minute.

Check out Zizi, adoringly gazing at her princess!

This was Dahlia's ballet dress-up. More of that to come too.

And now enter one tiny little sister (to smooch on).

Can't stop lovin' those girls of mine !

Hi, I'm Wanda. I am a happy woman, wife to Danny for...oh....lots a years and finally Mom to THE most adorable little girl from Hunan, China - Dahlia. And now we have been blessed again with another daughter, Milana, from Zhejiang, China. (The 2 best things I've ever done!) We live in the Montreal area. After a loooonnngg wait for Dahlia's little sister Milana (pronounced - Mee-lana, like banana), we finally brought her home in August 2009. Dahlia came to us in Nov 2004 (at 20 months of age)and a year later we began the application for another baby - at the time the waiting period was around 8 months. Almost 4 years later (say what!?!)we, at last, brought Milana home. This began as the story of our journey to bring Milana home and life with her big sister, Dahlia. It now continues as we live as a family of four!
God. My (growing) family. Hangin' out with my girlies. My wonderful friends (you know who you are!). To laugh (out loud and a lot!). Music. Painting. Hugs. Long chats with my buds. My garden. To read (ha...when I can!). Sunshine. Spring, Spring and more Spring. Building things. Cooking. Decorating. Parties (ahem). The internet. Life. Movies. A.I. Dancing with the stars. So you think you can dance. Travel. Umm..did I say laughing my head off. Oh Gee...everything actually!!
