....so I opted to post some random shots from the past couple of days.
Hi, I'm Wanda. I am a happy woman, wife to Danny for...oh....lots a years and finally Mom to THE most adorable little girl from Hunan, China - Dahlia. And now we have been blessed again with another daughter, Milana, from Zhejiang, China. (The 2 best things I've ever done!)
We live in the Montreal area. After a loooonnngg wait for Dahlia's little sister Milana (pronounced - Mee-lana, like banana), we finally brought her home in August 2009. Dahlia came to us in Nov 2004 (at 20 months of age)and a year later we began the application for another baby - at the time the waiting period was around 8 months. Almost 4 years later (say what!?!)we, at last, brought Milana home.
This began as the story of our journey to bring Milana home and life with her big sister, Dahlia. It now continues as we live as a family of four!

Now that's what I call some true random cuteness. The girls are getting so big..especially Milana (that hair is growing!)
Your pictures really look extra crisp...apparently you have perfected "crisping" in the last few weeks, huh (that workshop really did wonders for us, didn't it!).
I love the BWs but the colors really just knocked me out this time. Wish I were sipping some vino watching those little chickadees frolic in the yard...and Mommy capturing it all from behind her lens.

I agree with Dita. The black and whites are awesome but so are the color ones! Sounds like your having fun, fun, fun at your house! =)

You have two of the prettiest girls ever, Wanda! I cannot get over how much Milana has grown!!!! Love the pics, especially the one of the girls eating cookies together!! Precious!!
The kiddies seem to have a growth spurt during the summer! I have to agree with everyone that the BW pics are great, so crisp (that`s the perfect word!). :)
Lovely black and white! There is something special about bubbles in the summer.

Wanda... I agree with Dita on the crispness of your photos. I can definitely see a difference in them. I can also see your artistic eye coming out with regard to composition and your post-processing choices. Love them all!!!

Fun, fun, fun. You must have had a great week. I love the black and white bubbles - such great focus, but I what I was waiting for was your first picture in color to show up as a black and white. I am always drawn to those with a little moodiness. Beautiful Work!

I've been opting for a little more sleep lately myself, and I like to squeeze in as much as I can in 24 hours. I even dream in Photoshop actions to save time during the day ;o) *sigh* I so need your camera, Wanda!! And your little girls too! They're just too cute! Love the B&W with the bubbles and striped tee...perfection!
