Hi, I'm Wanda. I am a happy woman, wife to Danny for...oh....lots a years and finally Mom to THE most adorable little girl from Hunan, China - Dahlia. And now we have been blessed again with another daughter, Milana, from Zhejiang, China. (The 2 best things I've ever done!)
We live in the Montreal area. After a loooonnngg wait for Dahlia's little sister Milana (pronounced - Mee-lana, like banana), we finally brought her home in August 2009. Dahlia came to us in Nov 2004 (at 20 months of age)and a year later we began the application for another baby - at the time the waiting period was around 8 months. Almost 4 years later (say what!?!)we, at last, brought Milana home.
This began as the story of our journey to bring Milana home and life with her big sister, Dahlia. It now continues as we live as a family of four!

I love your slide show! So much has happened in a year`s time, ehÉ(sorry, my question mark key is not working!) Dahlia has grown so much and what a sweet older sister she has been to Milana. And Milana joining your family... what a blessing!

Oh gosh...my intention was to pop in to express my deep thanks for the beautiful comment you shared to our blog( I always smile while reading your comments) ~ I was so very touched and feel ever the same about following along with your gorgeous crew of 4 (yay!) and witnessing your beautiful Mama's heart & spirit.
And in finding this lovely recap of this past year, I am reminded that our paths had not even yet crossed at this same time last year....how thankful I am to know you now ~to share in this friendship & be fortunate enough to watch your family grow and flourish.
I simply cannot select a favorite among these.....they all left me smiling, sighing and celebrating your family!! My breath caught a few times too!
Our big girls would have such fun together and I wanted to share that Lauren was tickled with the slideshow too! She said, and I quote, " That girl has got my kind of style!" I couldn't agree more.... about the girl and her Mama too!! :)
